Thursday 26 November 2020, 19:00 – 20:00 GMT

Many people in the creative arts industry are self-employed and understanding and managing your finances can be a minefield. Especially in the lead up to Christmas, which can be an uncertain time for freelancers, this talk will help and support The Haven community to feel confident about managing their personal finances.

This talk will cover:
– How to save your money from too much tax
– How to effectively budget
– How to make your money work harder
– How to improve your credit rating
– Common financial pitfalls and how to avoid them

About your speaker

Peter currently runs his own business from his base in London, but regularly (pre-Covid) travels the country giving talks and helping people with their finances.
